Between CVS and Publix we bought $259.46 worth of groceries. We paid (out of pocket) $27.96.
After MIRs we will have paid $10.49 net.
This weeks total savings is $307.96 (97.8%).
Below is what we will be giving to charity this week... Remember to share your wealth!
Holy Moly, that is awesome. I coupon all the time, but I'm pretty sure that I've never had a day as good as the one you had. How many hours a week do you think you spend couponing?
ReplyDeleteGreat job--amazing what can be done. I wanted to tell you about a neat blog that has a linky for donation posts: http://simoneysavers.com/2010/08/08/shop-to-give-sunday-week-25/
ReplyDeleteThey also have a $10 Target giveaway that you enter with your donations.
Daniela, I spent between 2 - 3 hours a week on this. I will say that I do not cut all the coupons out of the inserts (as some do). I find it much more efficient to date and file my inserts, which saves me a lot of time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link Cheryl! I'll have to look into that!
That is really fantastic! I also file my inserts, and just this morning I told my husband that I really do not miss constantly having to clip.
ReplyDeleteI would love it, if you would link up your savings at my Weekly Savings Linky @ Frugality Is Free. I know my readers could learn a lot from you.
Frugal, Thank you for the invitation! I'll take you up on it right now. :)
ReplyDeleteKatie what a wonderful job! I get so encouraged when I see others using their couponing abilities to help others. I am so glad you linked up last week and I wanted to let you know that I have a contest going on right now where you can let us know what you are/have donated and you will be entered to win a $10 gift card
